Tracey Surman is standing for election as an independent to represent the Dawlish North East ward at Dawlish Town Council.

My name is Tracey Surman, I have lived in Dawlish for seven years. 

I love in living in Dawlish there is fantastic community spirit here and everyone is so friendly. 

I have worked 15 years in the care sector and have recently changed my career and I work in the hospitality sector. 

I am going as an independent councillor to support Dawlish residents in achieving what they want for their little town. 

I also do not think that politics should be involved at district or town councils. 

I do not need to be told how to think, I already have my own opinion and I will vote for what is right for our town and not for any political party. 

If I am elected I promise I will do the best that I can for Dawlish.
