The candidates standing for election to Teignbridge District Council and Dawlish Town Council have been named.

With voters going to the polls on 4 May, the parties have confirmed who will be standing in wards across the district.

See below for the wards and the candidates, with the parties they represent.

Teignbridge District Council

Dawlish North East (three councillors to be elected)

  • Andrew James Cruikshank (Heritage Party);
  • Rosie Dawson (Liberal Democrats);
  • Lin Goodman-Bradbury (Liberal Democrats);
  • Lisa Eugene Mayne (Conservative);
  • Wayne Munday (Independent);
  • Linda Petherick (Independent);
  • Martin Wrigley (Liberal Democrats).

Dawlish South West (two councillors to be elected)

  • Pete Costello (South Devon Alliance);
  • Alison Grace Foden (Liberal Democrats);
  • Mike James (Liberal Democrats);
  • John Robert Petherick (Independent);
  • Rosalind Mary Prowse (Conservative);
  • Angie Weatherhead (Independent).
