A new parent and toddler group in Dawlish enjoyed an Easter celebration and a visit from the Easter bunny this week just in time for the holidays.

St Mary's Busy Bees was founded in October 2021 by Natasha Cleave and operates from St Mary's Hall in Dawlish Warren.

The Easter celebration saw as many as 40 children and 25 adults attend, and the children enjoyed making Easter hats and hunting for eggs.

There was also a cake stall manned by Dawlish councillor Linda Petherick which raised £76 towards a trip to Powderham Castle.

The Busy Bees group is described as 'a happy vibrant atmosphere with lots of laughter from the children and lots of friendly chatter with the mums and grandparents', and is run by founder Natasha and several volunteers.

It will meet again in St Mary's Hall on Monday 9 May for those interested in the group.
