There's an American sitcom from the 1980s called 'Cheers' - it's set in a bar, and when its patrons walk in everybody shouts their name and welcomes them inside.

That's the exact feeling I got when I went to Brunswick Barbers in Dawlish recently. It was down-to-earth, friendly, and the guys that work there are very personable.

Going in there and having a real chat, not just small talk, was a breath of fresh air after being cooped up during the pandemic. What's more, they gave my disastrous mop a fantastic trim.
