One of the three remaining cygnets has gone missing.

The three cygnets were seen together in the Brook on Friday 29 October, but only two could be found the following morning.

Of the five eggs laid, only four hatched between 20-21 August.

The first cygnet hatched on the evening of Friday 20 August just after the end of Dawlish Carnival, and three more followed suit the day after. The fifth egg in the nest did not hatch, however.

One of those four subsequently died overnight on 30-31 August.
