Dawlish group Yarn Buddies is inviting new members to join and help create its 'yarnbombs'.

Yarnbombing involves making woolly decorations and hanging them around the town, such as on trees and railings.

The group recently yarnbombed Dawlish over Easter and during the carnival last year.

Spokesperson for Yarn Buddies Val Hempstock said: "We've just taken down our Easter yarnbomb and are now working on our Jubilee yarnbomb.

"I'll be running a family workshop on Thursday 2 June. We'll be making easy yarn items which the participants can then attach to the yarnbomb. We would like future yarnbombs to include items from more of the local community including the outlying villages.

"In the past we have raised money for Assist Teignbridge through the yarnbombs and plan to raise money for other charities also in the future."

To join the group and take part, message them on Facebook here.
