Four days of events planned for Queen's Platinum Jubilee in Dawlish

Dawlish is set to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a series of events and activities on the Lawn.
The Platinum Jubilee, which marks 70 years since the accession of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne, will be celebrated over four days from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June. Thursday and Friday will be bank holidays.
Dawlish Town Council has revealed its programme of events for the long weekend:
Thursday 2 June
On the first day of celebrations there will be a one-day family event called 'Turn the Tide 2022'. It will feature stalls, talks, workshops and more on the Lawn, alongside live music, and various environmental and ethical charities, organisations and businesses will be present.
Friday 3 June
The second day will see a 'Refreshers Fair' with over 30 local organisations in the marquee on the Lawn. A Lancaster Bomber will fly overhead at 3.14pm, and there will be a market on the Strand. In the evening, there will be a 'Grand Jubilee Quiz' in the marquee at 7.15pm.
Saturday 4 June
The third day of celebrations will be a 'Vintage Cycles and Heritage Vehicles Day', from 10am to 4pm on the Lawn. Old cars and heritage vehicles will be on the lawn from 10am to 4pm, and the vintage cycle ride will take place from 10am (click here to sign up). A Lancaster Bomber will fly over again at 4.52pm, and film clips of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II will be shown on the big screen on the Lawn from 6pm and the film 'Encanto' from 7pm.
Sunday 5 June
The final day will see the 'Big Jubilee Lunch' on the Lawn, together with Punch and Judy shows, a church service, live music, and a singalong of the Queen's favourite musicals from 7pm to 9pm.
