Motorcyclist taken to hospital after A381 Teignmouth Road crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 38-year-old motorcyclist received "life-changing" injuries in a crash on the A381 Teignmouth Road on Sunday (4 June).
Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a BMW car and a Kawasaki motorbike at around 2pm.
The road was reopened at around 5.15pm.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police investigating a road traffic collision on the A381 Teignmouth Road near Bishopsteignton on Sunday 4 June are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a BMW car and a Kawasaki motorbike at around 2pm.
"The motorcycle rider, a 38-year-old local man, was treated at the scene and taken to Derriford Hospital, where his injuries were described as life-changing but not life-threatening.
"The road was closed for around three hours to allow for medical treatment, a police investigation and recovery of the vehicle. It was reopened at around 5.15pm."
