Mayor officially opens new Dawlish play park

The Mayor of Dawlish officially opened the town's new Manor Gardens play park and children's trail on the Lawn on Saturday (4 March).
Work on the £320k project, which was funded by both Dawlish Town Council and Teignbridge District Council, began in November.
The play park was vandalised last month shortly after being completed.

It features a see-saw, slide, picnic benches, swings, and also black-swan themed 'rockers' and coastal-themed apparatus including a model train.
Mayor of Dawlish Cllr Lisa Mayne said: "I think they've done an absolutely amazing job, they've worked really, really hard at getting this up and running.
"I'm blown away by it. I think it's absolutely fantastic."

Conservative MP for Newton Abbot Anne Marie Morris also attended the grand opening, making use of the slide.
