Dawlish Carnival was brought to a close in style this evening (Friday 19 August) with the first parade since 2019.
The carnival has one last event taking place tomorrow evening - a picnic in the marquee on the Lawn from 7.30pm led by Dawlish band Maddy and the Chaps.
This year's parade saw the return of touring carnival band Rampage Mas as the headline act and a community parade with walking groups instead of the usual floats.
A fundraiser for this year's headline act was able to reach its target thanks to an £2.5k contribution from an anonymous donor alongside donations from members of the public and Dawlish Chamber of Trade and Commerce.
