Fire causes damage at Coryton Cove

A fire has destroyed rubbish bins and a flagpole, and damaged public rescue equipment and signs at Coryton Cove.

At the moment it's not clear whether the fire was started deliberately, or was caused accidentally.

Teignbridge Leisure has posted photos of the damage on Facebook, along with a reminder not to put hot ashes or used disposable barbecues into a plastic waste bin.
