Le Cygnerie in Dawlish is set to hold a chocolate-tasting event next month.

It will take place at the deli, which opened on The Strand in May this year, on Friday 4 November from 6pm.

The event will see the founder of local business Exe Chocolate Nicola Knight take participants "on a guided tour of how chocolate is grown and made" and offer a chance to "taste five or more different origin fine dark chocolate bars from around the chocolate globe."

A spokesperson for Le Cygnerie said: "Our deli will be transformed with a long communal table and candlelight.

"[Afterwards,] sit back and relax for the rest of the evening with all-inclusive cheese boards from our deli and wine. We're also offering 10% off our entire shop, the perfect chance to get some early Christmas shopping in!"

Booking is required for the £35 per person event.
