Stamp enthusiasts from all over the country are being attracted to Dawlish Stamp Club's meetings, currently being conducted via Zoom.

The club has attracted national attention in the philately world for its success in using technology to bring its meetings to life.

At the last event on Wednesday, February 10, attendees watched a presentation called 'A Legacy of the 20th Century', described as 'a hard-hitting look at humanity's damage to our environment'.

This was followed by a look at 'The Early Stamps of Sarawak" and the link to Devon.

The final story was 'Mail & Rail' and focused on the development of 'Travelling Post Offices' from their creation to their demise.

Attendees at the meeting included the President, Chairman and Secretary of Wessex Philatelic Federation plus the Editor of ABPS News.

The presentations are available to view on the club's website, and details of the next meeting will also be advertised there. Members of the public are welcome to attend via Zoom. To request the link, call Jim Wigmore on 01626 864844.
