Dawlish Local History Group: 100 Years of Beautiful Pottery by Lewis Bond

Dawlish Local History Group

Lewis Bond, Chairman of the Torquay Pottery Collectors Society, will be giving a history of the local potteries. The Society are about the Torquay and South Devon potters in the second half of the 19th Century through to the late 20th century. The 'Torquay Potteries' include Aller Vale, Watcombe, Longpark, Dartmouth, Babbacombe and Exeter. There are even pots depicting black swans of Dawlish.

Talks held in the council chamber. Guests welcome at £3 each
