Devon Air Ambulance has promised to help tackle the climate crisis by joining the drive to 'radically reduce' carbon emissions.

The charity has announced that it has 'agreed the ambition to tackle climate change within our county by examining how to mitigate its own environmental impact, to improve the health and wellbeing of current and future generations, and by signing the Climate Emergency Declaration'.

Devon's NHS is reassuring women that they can have the Covid-19 vaccine while pregnant or breastfeeding, and it will not affect their fertility.

The South Western Ambulance Service has declared a 'critical incident' due to 'extreme pressures'.

Last week, the service responded to an average of 2,913 incidents a day.

The outgoing chairman of Teignbridge District Council, Dawlish resident John Petherick, has been commended for his year's work in the role by the newly-elected current chairman, Colin Parker.
