Two businesses in Dawlish have been named as finalists in the Muddy Stilettos awards for 2022.

Dawlish dessert parlour The Local Scoop and coffee house and bar The Mix have been nominated in the 'local food/drink producer' and 'bar' categories respectively.

Each of the 27 categories cover best beauty salon to best children's business and all the finalists have been nominated by the public.

The categories each contain five finalists.

Only one finalist per category will be crowned the 'Regional Winner', and it's up to the public to vote for them.

How can I vote for my favourite business?

Voting will remain open until 15 June, with the winners announced on 21 June and invited to a private awards party.

Each winner will also receive a window rosette, a certificate, a rosette for its website, and all the publicity that comes with it.
