Rail strikes are set to impact Dawlish next week.

There will be no trains and no replacement buses between Exmouth and Paignton on Wednesday 31 May, Friday 2 June or Saturday 3 June.

There will also be disruption due to industrial action short of a strike (ie. last-minute changes and cancellations) on Thursday 1 June.

Tickets for strike days can be used as follows:

  • Tickets for Wednesday 31 May can be used on the day before the date on the ticket or up to and including Friday 2 June;
  • Tickets for Friday 2 June can be used on the day before the date on the ticket or up to and including Tuesday 6 June;
  • Tickets for Saturday 3 June can be used on the day before the date on the ticket or up to and including Tuesday 6 June.

If you had tickets for travel on strike days you can also claim a full refund.

Strikes have been taking place on the railways since June last year.
