Four parks in Teignbridge have been given 'Green Flag' awards by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Courtenay Park and Decoy Country Park in Newton Abbot, Homeyards Botanical Gardens in Shaldon, and The Den in Teignmouth were all given the internationally recognised seal of approval alongside 2204 others nationwide.
The Green Flag Award scheme is managed by Keep Britain Tidy under licence from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. It recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces.
Executive Member for Sport, Recreation and Culture Cllr John Nutley (Lib Dem, Ashburton & Buckfastleigh) said: "It is wonderful news that these four parks have again been recognised for the quality space they provide to residents and visitors.
"I would like to thank all our staff for their hard work throughout the year to maintain them as places where people can relax, enjoy the open space and explore the flora and fauna that they offer".
