Dawlish's skate park on Sandy Lane could be getting an upgrade soon - or moved to a new location.

It comes after Dawlish Town Council's new 'Skate Park Task and Finish Group' met for the first time on Wednesday (2 August).

Councillors discussed asking the district council what might be possible, whether the park could or should be moved for greater visibility, safety and maintenance costs and the need for CCTV, amongst other things.

They agreed on a site visit and inviting Teignbridge District Council as a first step.

The skate park is owned and maintained by Dawlish Town Council.
