A 'scoping opinion' is currently being sought for up to 200 homes on land east of the A379 Exeter Road and adjacent to Dawlish Countryside Park.

It means the applicant is asking the council for its opinion as to the scope and level of detail of information that should be provided in an environmental statement, which would be submitted with a planning application.

No planning application has yet been submitted.
