Rail strikes are set to impact Dawlish on Friday 12 May, Saturday 13 May, Wednesday 31 May and Saturday 3 June.

There will be no trains between Exmouth and Paignton on Friday 12 May, but there will be a "very limited" service between 7.30am and 6.30pm on Saturday 13 May.

There will be no replacement buses.

There will also be disruption due to industrial action short of a strike (eg. last-minute changes and cancellations) from Monday 15 to Saturday 20 May and on Saturday 13 May and Thursday 1 June.

Tickets for strike days can be used as follows:

  • Tickets for Friday 12 May or Saturday 13 May can be used on Thursday 11 May or up to and including Tuesday 16 May;
  • Tickets for Wednesday 31 May can be used on the day before the date on the ticket or up to and including Friday 2 June;
  • Tickets for Saturday 3 June can be used on the day before the date on the ticket or up to and including Tuesday 6 June.

If you had tickets for travel on strike days you can also claim a full refund.

Strikes have been taking place on the railways since June last year.
