Rail strikes and engineering work are set to affect trains through Dawlish.

The RMT union has announced 24-hour strikes on Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 March.

Engineering work will also take place on the railway between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March.

Replacement bus services will be provided during the engineering work and will reportedly not be impacted by the strike on Saturday.

Rail strikes have so far taken place in June, July, August, October, November, and December last year, and in January this year.
