Pram Race applications for Dawlish Carnival now open

The application window for entries to the annual Pram Race at Dawlish Carnival are now open.
In teams of at least three people over the age of 18, entrants must create a 'pram' or makeshift wheeled vehicle and run with it on foot on a circuit around the town in a time trial.
The theme for pram design this year is 'space'.
The route will be different this year. It will start on the Lawn then proceed onto the Strand, then go up the A379 to the Gresham Inn, up Commercial Road to the South Devon Inn, then back down the A379 to the Beach Bar, Marine Tavern, and up Brunswick Place to Brook Street, Old Town Street, Queen Street, the Strand, and finally back to the Lawn.
Entries cost £15 and must be submitted before 12pm on Monday 15 August. The race will take place on Tuesday 16 August.
