Police appeal after A38 crash near Chudleigh leaves woman with 'life-changing' injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of a crash that happened on the northbound carriageway of the A38 at Chudleigh on Tuesday (22 November).

Emergency services were called just before 9am to the scene. The crash involved two cars: a grey Volvo XC60, and a blue BMW 420.

The driver of the Volvo, a woman in her 40s from the Ivybridge area, was taken to hospital with "life-changing injuries".

A passenger in the BMW also suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for around three hours.
