The Dawlish Art Group are preparing for the annual summer exhibition at the Strand Centre, and this year have added two new prizes.

The subjects for these prizes will change each year to give the exhibition more variety. This year paintings of flowers and portraits will be featured.

The group commissioned two new prizes from Hazel Bunyan at the Vivian Gallery in Queen Street, who created an exclusive design for the group of two glass easels with colourful blobs of colour to represent paint.

The exhibition begins on Tuesday 18 July and ends on Saturday 22 July, and is open from 10am to 4pm each day.

A mix of original paintings, prints and cards are on offer, with drinks and snacks available from the Strand Cafe.
