Plans for eight new static lodges at Cofton Country Holiday Park will be debated by Dawlish Town Council's planning committee on Friday.
The lodges will be located within the existing site and each will have a raised decking area and two parking spaces.
Access lanes will be built, connecting to an existing road that runs down the centre of the holiday park.
The applicant says the lodges will be on part of the area of the holiday park currently used by campers, overlooking the park and having good views up to Haldon Hill.
They won't be visible from any public road, and the surrounding vegetation will give the lodges privacy.
The application states that an ecological survey has been carried out, and there are no protected species of plants or wildlife there.
Dawlish's planning committee will submit their views on the application to Teignbridge District Council, which will make the final decision.
Another planning application being discussed by the committee on Friday is for a new campsite in Dawlish Warren: read more here.
