Exeter's Wilko branch has closed after almost 13 years.

It was among the last to close after the retailer collapsed into administration in August.

The Guildhall store opened on 27 October 2010, and shut for the last time on Sunday (8 October).

A message from staff read: "Dear customers, on behalf of all our staff here in Exeter we would like to thank you for all your support over the years and appreciate all of your custom and understanding in this difficult time."

Wilko had 400 shops across the country and employed as many as 12,500 people, almost all of whom are reportedly being made redundant.
