Dawlish: £2 bus fare cap extended until end of next year

A £2 cap on bus tickets for single journeys has been extended until 31 December 2024.
It comes as part of £6.5 billion in diverted HS2 cash earmarked for transport and road improvements in the South West.
The fare cap was originally only going to last until the end of this month.

The redirected HS2 cash will also go towards reopening railway stations at Tavistock, Cullompton and Wellington.
