The Ugly Duckling restaurant on the Strand in Dawlish is now closed.

It announced on Thursday 30 September on Facebook that it had closed, and thanked 'friends, customers and staff' who have supported the restaurant over the past nine years. It also wished the new owners of the restaurant well.

The previous owners, Chris and Catharine, have reportedly not left the area.
