Dawlish running club to hold fancy dress fun run, kids race for Platinum Jubilee

Local running club Dawlish Coasters is set to hold a fancy dress fun run for adults and a race for children as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the town.

Taking place on Thursday 2 June, the fun run for adults will involve a 3.5-mile run to Dawlish Warren starting at 2pm. The children's race will take place on the Lawn from 1pm.

Jubilee-themed medals are available for all who take part.

A spokesperson for Dawlish Coasters said: "Does anyone fancy taking part in a Jubilee fun run (fancy dress optional)?

"A fab jubilee medal will be yours just for taking part and you never know, you might might discover a new hobby!"

Do I need to register to run?

You can register on the day for your child to run the children's race.

If you want to join in the adult's race, you need to register in advance. It costs £6 or £4 if you're affiliated with the club.
