A crash involving just one vehicle took place on the A380 today (Thursday 15 May) near Ideford, with one person taken to hospital.

It took place at around 2pm.

The southbound carriageway was partially blocked due to the crash and debris on the road until at most 4.22pm, as reported by Nub News.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A380 near Ideford at around 2pm on Thursday 15 May.

"One person was taken to hospital to be checked by medical staff.

"Recovery of the vehicle has been arranged and the carriageway is clear."
