Dawlish: Man taken to hospital after car hits tree on A380

A man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving hit a tree on the A380 on Sunday (6 November).

He sustained a head injury described as not life-changing or life-threatening.

Police were called to the scene on the southbound carriageway of the A380 at Telegraph Hill just after 11am, and left by 1.45pm.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 11.05am on Sunday 6 November following a single-car collision on Telegraph Hill, Exeter.

"The car was in collision with a tree. Ambulance and the fire service also attended.

"The male driver was taken to hospital for a head injury - not life changing or threatening.

"Offices were clear from scene by 1.45pm."
