Girl, 14, to pass Dawlish on final leg of solo sail around GB

Katie's 26-foot Morgan Giles yacht named 'Falanda' passed Exmouth beach on Wednesday 30 June

14-year-old Katie McCabe is due to return to the Exe Estuary this Saturday 21 August.

She is due to sail past Exmouth at around 4-4.30pm, and so should be able to be spotted going past Dawlish at around the same time.

She embarked on her solo sail around Great Britain on Wednesday 30 June.

When she completes her journey, she will be the youngest person ever to have sailed solo around Great Britain.
