Dawlish footpath 'pocket park' reopens after makeover
A small "pocket park" on the footpath from the A379 down to the sea wall at Coastguards Cottages in Dawlish has reopened after a makeover by Network Rail.
Upgrades include a new footpath, handrail, wildflower turf and new shrubs and flowers.
It comes as part of the overall sea wall project.
A Network Rail spokesperson said: "It’s open! The pocket park near Coastguards Cottages, Dawlish, is back in use after its mini-makeover as part of the sea wall project.
"The benches are now in place, so passers-by may sit and enjoy the coastal views.
"Just the bug hotel and bat box left to install."
