Dawlish fire crew tackle burning car on A380

Dawlish firefighters were called out to a blazing car on the A380 this morning (Saturday, May 15).

The fire service received several calls at around 9.55am about the vehicle that had gone up in flames on the southbound carriageway at South Ashcombe Cross.

The car has been completely destroyed by the fire, which had started accidentally.
