Just after 6am this morning (Friday 2 July) a Dawlish fire engine was called to a report of a car on fire.

When they arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming from the vehicle.

They extinguished the fire using compressed air foam, but the car was left 80% damaged by the blaze.
