A surf lifeguard course for aspiring lifeguards will be on offer at Exmouth Beach Rescue Club next spring.

It will run for six days from 2 to 7 April with "a view to potentially work in the Dawlish area for 2024".

An RNLI Lifeguards South and East Devon spokesperson said: "Do you want to challenge yourself and support your local community?

"We are looking for dependable, selfless, trustworthy and courageous individuals to join our amazing team over the summer.

"This course will be run over six days, 9am to 5pm each day."

There will also be an assessment day on 13 April.
