Maintenance work on the end of the Dawlish Warren (Inner) Car Park on the seaward side of the railway will restrict access to the nature reserve tomorrow (19 July) and Wednesday 20 July.

Teignbridge District Council has said it is carrying it out now to avoid the summer holidays.

A spokesperson said: "The work is being done before the school summer holidays as the car park is pitted and is in a poor condition, increasing the risk of trips and falls as well as damage to vehicles. There will still be access to the golf club car park. The two areas affected by the maintenance work are shown in red [on the map]."
