Brunel Holiday Park at Dawlish Warren goes up for sale with £950k price tag
Brunel Holiday Park at Dawlish Warren, which offers stays in converted train carriages, is now for sale for close to £1m.
It is currently being marketed by estate agency Bettesworths as a freehold for £950k.
The park was initially set up by Great Western Railway in 1935, but only for railway employees and their families to use for their holidays.
It was closed in September 2016, but acquired by new owners the following year and refurbished. It reopened in 2019, and, according to Bettesworths, has been 'incredibly successful' despite the pandemic.
The estate agency also added that future bookings are looking strong for the carriages, which have been 'renovated to an incredibly high standard'.
The five carriages can each sleep up to six people, and have sea views, on-site parking and wi-fi. The site is located near Dawlish Warren Railway Station.
