A 'disgusting' mess of litter was discovered by a local resident early on Saturday morning (12 June) at the Seven Sisters.

Around 12 glass bottles, together with cardboard boxes, plastic bags, and a jacket, were all found on and around the benches at the beauty spot.

It was later cleared up by another member of the public.

Alison, who found the litter, said: "This keeps happening. What can be done?

"The lads and girls that go up in the evening make it very uncomfortable for people like me who want to take an evening walk.

"You can't sit down on the benches as they take over and the language is dreadful.

"Last week at 6.30pm a lad was being repeatedly sick by the gate where people walk through."

It comes as one of many such incidents at the Seven Sisters - in April, a gate leading to a field used for grazing cows was left open, and the remains of an open fire and broken glass were discovered on the ground.
