GAP Hire Solution'snationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipmentincluding diggers, dumpers and small power tools to companieswithin the construction, utilities and infrastructuresectors.As a Small Tools / Test & RunFitter you will play a pivotal role in the success of our busydepot with responsibility for ensuring all Electrical and smalltools are safe and serviceable before going out on hire and carryout PAT Testing on all electrical tools as well as servicing andmaintaining a variety of small tools including 2/4 stroke petroltools and a range of electrical tools including saws, grinders anddrills to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, whenthey need it.

Successful applicants must be ableto demonstrate the following:• A relevantmechanical/electrical qualification (or time served)•Significant experience in petrol and diesel contractor toolsservicing and maintenance• Experience carrying out PATTesting on all electrical tools • Up to date knowledgeof products and full range of accessories • Experiencein completion of all test certificates and associatedpaperwork• A valid driving licence is preferred but notessential
