Planning consent has been granted for Joney's Cross Car Park near Hawkerland, Four Firs Car Park near Woodbury, roadside parking at Stowford near Colaton Raleigh, and Frying Pans Car Park near Bicton Common.

A road traffic collision in Dawlish yesterday (Thursday 21 October) at around 2.44pm saw firefighters from Teignmouth and Middlemoor rescue a person trapped in a car on its side.

A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue Service said: "Fire control received a report from police of a two-vehicle road traffic collision with one person still trapped within their vehicle.
