Dawlish Walking Festival 2023 is set to get underway this weekend and will feature several walks each day, most of which will be free.

Highlights include a walk with the waterfowl wardens, one with a local historian, and another singing sea shanties.

Friday: Hit The Road screening at Shaftesbury Theatre

Shaftesbury Theatre, Dawlish (Nub News/ Will Goddard)

Teignmouth Film Society will be showing Iranian road-trip movie Hit the Road at Dawlish's Shaftesbury Theatre next Friday.

Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm screening and tickets are only available on the door.

Splat Attack is available to play every weekend at Dawlish Warren (Splat Attack)

A new outdoor game for families described as 'paintball without the pain' is available to play every weekend in Dawlish Warren.

Public walk-in games start every hour and players of all ages (8+) are invited to join the fun.
