Saturday: Dawlish Poetry for Pleasure

Dawlish poetry group Poetry for Pleasure is set to meet this Saturday.

The theme is 'Fly'. You can come along and bring a poem to read, either written by you or somebody else.

Everyone is welcome, and the group will meet in the foyer of the Methodist Church on Brunswick Place.

Monday: Dawlish and District u3a Monthly Meeting - Dawlish Life in Pictures 1865-1925

David Gearing from the Dawlish Local History Group will be giving a presentation of photographs from an archive of images portraying life in Dawlish.

Visitors are welcome.

The group will be meeting in the council chamber of the Manor House at 3.15pm - a slightly later time than usual.

Tuesdays: Games Afternoons

Into board games?

Every Tuesday afternoon at the Strand Community Centre in Dawlish, there are sessions with Snakes and Ladders, chess, dominoes, card games and more.

It takes place from 2pm to 4pm.
