Dawlish poetry group Poetry for Pleasure resumes its face-to-face meetings this month next Saturday. The theme is 'fly'... you can either bring a poem, or write your own! An Olivier Award-winning comedy-drama is coming to Exeter's Northcott Theatre in April. Described as a 'Northern fairy-tale', this musical is set in Scarborough, North Yorkshire in 1992 and follows a mother and her daughter. The musical numbers include 'countless powerhouse ballads, all performed live on stage, featuring music from Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey, and Billie Holliday'. Find out more details here.
