1. Poetry for Pleasure

Dawlish poetry group Poetry for Pleasure's next meeting will meet at 10.30am in the foyer of Dawlish Methodist Church on Saturday.

2. Cinema: The Father

This film is a French-British co-production, starring Anthony Hopkins, Olivia Colman, Mark Gatiss, Imogen Poots, Rufus Sewell, and Olivia Williams.

It follows an ageing man who must deal with his progressing dementia.

3. 'Oliver Twist – Parable, Providence and the Poor' Dawlish & District u3a Talk with Dr Keith Hooper

Members of Dawlish & District u3a will meet on Monday to listen to guest speaker and author Dr Keith Hooper.

In his talk, he will be exploring some of the themes in Oliver Twist.
