Motorists are being urged to be on the alert after a spate of catalytic converter thefts in the Newton Abbot area, and across the wider force territory.

Between mid-February and mid-April, police have received nine reports of thefts in and around Newton Abbot, the latest being at from a car parked in Trendlebere Down car park, Manaton, during the morning of Monday, April 19.
