Teens assaulted in Teignmouth 'large-scale disorder'

Two 15-year-old boys, one of whom sustained a serious head injury, were taken to hospital after being assaulted during "large-scale disorder" in Teignmouth last month.

Police were called to the scene in Lower Brimley Road at 7.45pm on Friday 21 July following reports of a fight "involving a large group of youths".

Three boys, two aged 16 and one aged 15, were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm, and have been released on bail until 5 October pending further enquiries, police said.

The force is urging anyone who saw what happened or has camera footage to come forward.
