UPDATE: Police have found 19-year-old missing from Newton Abbot

Pongaskorn Wanachai, 19, was last seen in the Market Walk area of Newton Abbot at around 5pm yesterday.

UPDATE: He has now been found safe. Police have thanked the public for their help.

Police have issued an appeal to the public to help find a man who has gone missing from Newton Abbot.

Pongaskorn Wanachai, 19, was last seen in the Market Walk area of the town at around 5pm yesterday (Thursday 16 September).

Police officers are carrying out searches and are asking the public to call 999 if they see the man pictured.

Description

Pongaskorn likes to be called 'Mon'. He:

- Is five feet five inches tall;

- Has a thin build;

- Has short dark hair;

- Is believed to be wearing three-quarter length denim shorts, a mustard zip-up hooded top and sliders.

He also has difficulty communicating.
