Police appeal for witnesses of Teignmouth crash that saw woman airlifted to hospital

Police are appealing for witnesses of a crash in Teignmouth between a Honda motorcycle and a pedestrian that took place on Wednesday (7 December).

A woman in her 30s was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The motorcyclist was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Officers were called to the collision at around 8.25pm on the A379 Exeter Road in Teignmouth near the junction with Higher Brook Street.

The road was closed for officers to investigate and was reopened at around 1.30am.

Police have said that they "would particularly like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage of the vehicle and/or the pedestrian prior to the collision".
